Still,stagnant, you are
Yet, you keep flowing
Taking all sorrows far.
You appear so mournful
On what you lament, I wonder
yet you are never fretful
from where you get this strength,i ponder
At you cruel humans throw pebbles,
at the time of their leisure
But you smile back with ripples
and bless them with pleasure.
Waves after waves you wash away,
memories of good and hard times
Of lovers, oblivion and loners
and listen to tales, saga and hymns.
You let go of the past
being quite patient and firm
as you move on and flow so fast,
leaving behind, for us,so much to learn.
